Philodendron xanadu is a low-maintenance plant with exotic large leaves that can accentuate your indoors.
Philodendron xanadu, sometimes known as Winterbourne is a perennial plant belonging to the family Araceae. The plant forms dense clumps with glossy green, deeply dissected, lobed leaves. A Xanadu plant can be grown indoors or outdoors.
Unlike many other philodendrons, This is not a vining plant, therefore support is required.
How to Grow and Care for a Xanadu Plant
It's not difficult to take care of Xanadu.
Philodendron xanadu likes bright, indirect light well, and even a small amount of direct sunlight, especially early in the day, will be good for it. If you have this plant in too dark of a place, the stem will grow too long while too direct sunlight can cause the foliage to change into a yellow color.
Water requirements -
Keep the potting mix moist but not soggy. Maintain good drainage. Excess water may cause the yellowing of leaves.
Make sure to fertilize them regularly throughout the growing season with a feeding solution that has all the macronutrients for the best results.
Pests on Xanadu
Xanadu plant has a high resistance to pests but might get infested by the mealybug. Washing the leaves regularly can help keep pest infestations at bay.
