Butterfly Milkweed (Asclepias curassavica)

Scarlet Milkweed is a short herb with bright red-yellow flowers. Wasps, beetles and a number of other butterflies visit these flowers to feed on the nectar. Larvae of a specific group of butterflies known as Milkweed Butterfly are known to love feeding on the leaves of this plant.
