When is the right time to start seeds? It depends on the climatic zone you live in.

It's important to sow the seeds at the right time. This will help increase germination and create healthier, more robust plants.

Some plants need to be grown indoors and transferred outside, while others can be planted outdoors directly from their seeds. Normally, transplanted seeds sprout up more quickly than those planted outdoors and reach their harvesting stage faster.

When to Start Seeds?

Generally, seeds have to be planted four to six weeks prior to the cold season. The ideal period to sow seeds is typically between late March and late May. Let the plant have enough time to sprout and grow, so it can be moved to a new location.

Calendula, Marigolds, Cineraria, and Dahlia are some of the winter flowers.

Autumn flowers

The ideal time for sowing seeds of winter flowering plants is from June- July.

Nasturtium, Celosia, and Cosmos are some of the autumn flowers.

When is the best time in the day to sow seeds?

It is best to start sowing seeds or planting saplings in the evening, perhaps between 4 to 6 p.m. It allows the seed or sapling time to adjust to the environmental conditions before experiencing the day's heat.
