Watering at the right time will really enable good growth of your plants and not cause any diseases or pest infestation.
The best time to water your plants is in the morning.
This is because the excess water can evaporate throughout the day.
If you water in the evening, the excessive water stays around the roots.
This can cause root rot and fungus and eventually the death of the plants. Watering in the afternoon is not preferred as all of the water evaporates before it can reach the plants.
You could also water in the later afternoon when the intensity of the sun has come down.
